TWILIGHT
i'm drowning in the shadows ... desperately trying to reach the light ...
This romantic ambiance - the blue hour if you will - the time before sunrise, or after sunset, when scattered sunlight in the upper atmosphere illuminates its lower counterpart. The world is suspended in time - the surface of the Earth is caught between light and dark.
Remember how I said that I had *insert random large number* fandoms?
Well, there are so many sites that I want to design - it's hard to keep track. Ever since I learned web design, I can think of no better way to show my obsession love for a character/series than to create a tribute. I'll admit that I'm a wildly ambitious one so don't be surprised if some of these thoughts-on-paper never get converted to actual digital code.

» Never Say Die - a Shishido Ryou shrine
No amount of words could describe how much I admire Shishido from Prince of Tennis and how much I want him to crush Atobe succeed because of his amazing persistence and tenacity. Shishido is someone who wasn't born with any special talents, but his hard work more than makes up for it. He's quick-tempered, abrupt, and doesn't give a second glance to anyone who doesn't give 110% all the time. Yet, with flashy teammates who possess a variety of natural skills, he's more or less an average tennis player - but, his never-say-die attitude more than makes up for it. Now that deserves recognition, don't you think?
» Where I Left My Heart - a Kaien Shiba tribute
One of my favourite Bleach characters - Bleach has such a gigantic character base that, eventually, at least one of those characters will start to grow on you. Kaien has done exactly that for me. Although I like the main characters well enough, I was never much of a "main cast" fangirl. So when Kaien came into the storyline, I was taken by his charming personality. I really want to make this tribute to the irreplacable vice-captain of the 13th division who led with a firm but gentle hand and a contagious grin. Let the story of his courage and strength be known to everyone, from the Soul Society and beyond...

» Rogue - a Niou Masaharu shrine
I've been in the Prince of Tennis fandom for so long, yet have done practically nothing for it. I've been planning a shrine for Niou for quite a while now because he's one of the more overshadowed players on the Rikkaidai tennis team. But there isn't any real reason why he should be - he's devious, cunning, and unpredicatable - not to mention incredibly sexy, although that's probably not a tennis requirement. If Kirihara hadn't captured my heart first, Niou would have definitely stolen it in a heartbeat. And he's quite the character, bearing the title of Trickster of the Court and has the cutest catchphrase of them all - "puri".
» Unfathomable - a Kirihara Akaya shrine
I love Kirihara from Prince of Tennis. No, truly. I love him. There lacks sufficiently powerful English words to describe how much I adore this little brat. I love his complex personality because in the end, he's just that adorable little boy who's a tad bit over-ambitious. When he first appeared on the show, I paid no attention to him (back then, I was too concered with Fuji Syusuke) until 10-something episodes later when I realized that I had unconsciously fallen in love with him. And I fell hard - he's just so darn adorable! *squish* Now if I claim to love him so much and not make a gigantic shrine for him, that would be sacrilegious.
» ????? - a Jyu oh Sei fansite
I'm fairly convinced that Jyu oh Sei has way too less representation in the anime fandom for my own good. When I finally decided to watch this short series, I was hooked onto its complex plot and how it still managed to mingle fantasy with a bit of sci-fi and a dash of romance. Of course, it still has its shortcomings, but the general experience was largely positive. I love plots with conspiracies and it's a bonus if it's a "the end of humanity as we know it" type of storyline. I'm determined to build the first ever English site dedicated to this anime to help spread the popularity. Oh, and of course, Third is hot.

» ????? - a Hisagi Shuuhei shrine
My other love in Bleach is none other than Hisagi, the disciplined vice-captain of the 9th division. Now, I realize that Hisagi is a strange choice considering that Bleach has 394234 characters and each one of them having a much greater role than him. While it's a true that Hisagi is overshadowed, underplayed, and often misused in my strongly biased opinion, he's also a prodigy who's wonderfully skilled and dedicated to his duties. Besides, I'm sure that I'm not the only who's diligently waiting for his Shikai (or to be optimistic, Bankai) release. But am I the only one who thinks that his 69 tattoo is hot?
» ????? - a Eduard Markgraf von Sekt nahe Braunschweig shrine
That's quite the name, isn't it? Now don't be fooled by what seems like a stuffy name of someone with rightful, noble blood inheritance because Eduard from Meine Liebe is anything but. Meine Liebe is a such an unknown anime because, in all honesty, it's not overly exciting or interesting. However, I fell in love with Eduard anyways because of how he had such an upbeat outlook on life and how nonchalantly he dealed with society sneering at his disgraceful upbringing. Come on, men in uniform with sword-fighting skills who can also ride horses? You can't get much better than that!
» ????? - a Ichimaru Gin X Matsumoto Rangiku shrine
This small shrine will be dedicated to the (romantic) relationship between Ichimaru and Matsumoto, whom I am convinced are perfect for each other. This is probably my favourite pairing in the series because it's a such an undertone to everything else that is going on in the show. Subtle, or not-so-subtle, hints of Ichimaru/Matsumoto are thrown everywhere whenever these two are in the same scene. Nothing's canon yet (what? canon romance in Bleach, is there such a thing?) and their interactions have been short, but I'll bet that many of you are eagerly awaiting new developments from these two, just like I am!
